Alexander Smith ’18 credits his time at York College and the J.D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship for a successful start to his career.

York College will host a talk by a Texas A&M philosophy professor who argues that injustices should be approached in the same way as illnesses at 7 p.m., Nov. 14, in Weinstock Lecture Hall, Willman Business Center. The talk by Gregory Pappas, "An Inter-American Approach to the Problems of Injustice," is open to the public free of charge.

Philadelphia musician and educator J. Donald Dumpson will lead an exploration into the complex issues surrounding the performance of music of the Black American Experience at York College's DeMeester Recital Hall, Wolf Hall, on Nov. 8.

Kelley Gibson ’96 fell in love with York and its underground art scene during college. Now, she oversees fundraising and advocates for artists and arts organizations in York.
