Students walking through the modern West Campus housing area at York College

Housing options

It might sound cliche to say you’ll make memories that last a lifetime in our residence halls, but it’s true - this is where you’ll spend late nights studying, make new friends, and have a lot of fun.

First-year students are typically placed into traditional halls.  Upperclassman students have the opportunity to choose several options, including traditional halls, suites, apartments, and houses. We provide these in an effort to promote personal growth and independence.

As a residential college, most students are required to live on campus.  However, some students may be permitted to commute from home or live off-campus.  Please read our residency requirement for complete details.
