The Websites are primarily intended for prospective students, students, parents, alumni, employees, and other members of the YCP community. In some circumstances, YCP may collect limited information about individuals under the age of 16, including prospective-student information submitted through YCP forms or received from educational, testing, or recruitment-related sources. YCP uses such information for admissions, recruitment, enrollment, communications, and related educational purposes. YCP does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Websites without appropriate consent where required by law. Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be encrypted.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Websites like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Websites.

Certain student education records may also be subject to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and YCP’s student-records policies. This Statement applies to personal data processed through YCP’s websites and does not replace any FERPA notice, student-records policy, employment privacy notice, admissions notice, or other privacy notice that applies in a specific context.
