  • Grow Your Knowledge & Your Alumni Network

    Your York College education doesn't have to end with graduation. Stay a lifelong learner by participating in different educational opportunities. You can also engage in events and activities that allow you to connect with fellow alumni and grow your personal and professional networks. Here are a few ways you can do so:

    1. Join us on campus for Fall Fest Weekend: No matter what event(s) you attend, we hope you will enjoy a weekend full of reminiscing with old friends, reconnecting with the College, and exploring campus and downtown York. 
    2. View one of the Webinars for the Curious Mind: Participate in live webinars and enjoy previously recorded webinars to grow your knowledge and build your skillset. Are you an expert in your field or looking to expand your resume? Consider hosting a webinar for other alumni on a topic you are knowledgeable about!
    3. Join the YCP Alumni LinkedIn Group to meet Spartans and connect on professional topics.
    4. Travel abroad with your fellow alumni on the York College Alumni Greece Tour. We will explore the Athens, Argolis, the Pelonnese, Delphi, and Meteora.
    5. Explore our upcoming events: We are constantly looking for new and exciting events and opportunities for our alumni to get involved. Check our upcoming events page to stay up to date on all upcoming events!
  • Career Development Center Resources for Alumni

    The Career Development Center offers lifetime access to career and professional development tools and resources to our alumni! You can make an appointment through Handshake (see registration directions below) to discuss:

    • Networking opportunities
    • ...and more!

    Handshake Access

    After July 5, 2023, YCP alumni from all graduating classes prior to August 2022 can register for an account in Handshake for 24/7 access to employers, jobs, recruitment events, and Career Development resources. To register:

    1. Go to to register your account. The page should display “York College of Pennsylvania” above the email field.
    2. To sign up for an account, you will be prompted to register with your .edu email address on the registration page and then add your school. However, if you no longer have access to their .edu address, simply register using a personal email and then select York College of Pennsylvania from the dropdown menu.
    3. You will then need to create a unique password for your account and agree to Handshake's Terms of Service.
    4. You will then be prompted to fill in your demographic information. Once your information is added, the account is created, and a confirmation email is sent to the email address with which you registered the account. You must click the link in the email confirmation to confirm and use the account.
      • Your account will show as Pending until a Career Development member approves it. You may be contacted to verify alumni information.
