Timothy Mowrer, MEd

Biography

Born and raised in Lancaster, Pa., Professor Mowrer has a B.S. degree in sport management from York College of Pennsylvania and a M.Ed. in sport management from Millersville University. He has been working in collegiate athletics for over eight years. He started out working in athletic communications at Johns Hopkins University and Franklin & Marshall College. From there, he then became the first-ever assistant commissioner of the Capital Athletic Conference, a NCAA Division III conference with institutions in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. He currently works as the assistant executive director of the Centennial Conference, an 11-member conference with institutions in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Mowrer has been teaching as an adjunct at York College since the fall of 2016.
