York College of Pennsylvania will host a Q&A with the artists from the Lancaster-area Barefoot Dance Company on Thursday, March 4, at 7 p.m. EST via Zoom.

York College was recently named to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s 2021 Transfer Honor Roll in recognition of the dynamic pathways the College has created to support transfer students. The College also earned the 2021-2022 Military Friendly School designation from G.I. Jobs magazine.

JL Smith, a former professional actor in the Atlanta area and husband of York College President Pamela Gunter-Smith, has donated funds to establish the JL Smith New Play Festival. The College’s Theatre program is seeking play submissions for the inaugural festival, which will take place via Zoom on May 6 and 7.
