York College will host Baltimore-based D. Watkins, a New York Times best-selling author and editor-at-large for Salon, for a talk at 7 p.m., Feb. 6, in DeMeester Recital Hall, Wolf Hall. The event is open to the public free of charge.

Actress Qurrat Ann Kadwani will present "They Call Me Q" at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 4, in York College's Waldner Performing Arts Center. The event is open to the public free of charge.

Artist James Johnson will present a talk at 5:30 p.m., Jan. 23, in York College's DeMeester Recital Hall, Wolf Hall. His exhibition, "The Shallow Habit of Seeing," will open that same day and run through Feb. 27 in York College Galleries. All events are open to the public free of charge.
