Special Events

The College is pleased to host virtual lectures by scholars Richard Bell and Jean Baker. Bell will discuss the gripping story of Five Free Boys Kidnapped Into Slavery and Their Astonishing Odyssey Home. Baker will explore women’s suffrage and the effort to ratify the 19th Amendment. 

Visiting writer events will continue to be virtual this spring, live-streaming readings and talks with two of today's most exciting writers, Jess Row and Major Jackson.
