Cultural Series

York College’s Cultural Series has much to offer for fall 2021. We invite you to enjoy the amazing worlds of art, music, film, theatre, and special events in a variety of safe and accessible ways: 

  • The majority of events will be available virtually. Please check individual event descriptions for Zoom links.
  • Select events will be available in-person for the general public, as well as YCP students, faculty, and staff. (Advance registration will be required.)
  • YCP students, faculty, and staff may attend all events in person. (Advance registration required where applicable.)

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and recent uptick in cases due to the Delta variant, this semester's Cultural Series events will have limited capacity. While all members of the York College student body, faculty, and staff may attend any on-campus event, in-person attendance for the general public will be available only at the select events below.

Advance registration is required for all attendees of the following events. Please see individual events to access the appropriate registration form and reserve your seat.*

  • Gutenberg! The Musical (September 16-18)
    NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, this event will take place indoors and will be closed to the public.

Art exhibits will also be open to the public during normal gallery business hours. 

*Seating will be limited, based on venue capacity.

COVID-19 Precautions

To ensure the safety of our entire campus community, a number of mitigation efforts have been put into place for Fall 2021 Cultural Series events:
  • All attendees must wear a face mask for the duration of the event.
  • Social distancing protocols will be observed inside venues.
  • Children under the age of 12 will not be permitted to attend in-person events on campus, and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Please check individual events’ information on the campus calendar for details about attendance requirements and remote viewing opportunities — Select performances will require advance registration and completion of a form to verify that attendees have not had recent COVID-19 symptoms or exposure.
