Genevieve Ryder '21

Surrounded by art her entire life it was an easy decision for Genevieve Ryder to select graphic design as a major at York College.

“York College has been the perfect fit. The personal outreach from professors I received before I was a student was very welcoming and made for a smooth transition” said Genevieve.

When first considering graphic design as a major, Genevieve was interested in designing book covers and movie posters, but now seeing how versatile a degree in graphic design can be she has realized the possibilities are endless.

Outside of the classroom, Genevieve has gotten involved on campus through the American Institute of Graphic Arts chapter which has provided her and fellow students the opportunity to network with local businesses and form friendships with fellow graphic design students at York.
