York College of PA hosts Annual Juried Student Exhibition opening, lectures by jurors Matthew Borgen, Anna Jordan on March 20

York College of Pennsylvania’s Annual Juried Student Exhibition, featuring the works of students in Fine Art and Graphic Design classes, opens with a reception at 4 p.m., March 20, in the lobby of Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall. Lectures by jurors Matthew Borgen (Fine Art) and Anna Jordan (Graphic Design) begin at 5 p.m. in DeMeester Recital Hall, Wolf Hall. Events are open to the public free of charge.

Borgen’s nationally exhibited drawings, videos, installations, and digital prints deal with the relationship between nostalgia and history through imagery derived from popular culture sources. Jordan’s award-winning work explores the intersection of typography and materials, is exhibited internationally, and is featured in many publications.

The Annual Juried Student Exhibition, which runs until April 16 in the York College Galleries, Wolf Hall, features works identified by the guest jurors as the strongest entered by students in Fine Art and Graphic Design classes.
