Rock Band

This experiential learning class is dedicated to performing standard repertoire of the classic rock and pop genres. Students will be placed in 2 small groups and expected to learn a number of standard cover songs to perform for an audience.  One section is a cover band that performs classic rock and pop throughout the local community. The second section functions as a "tribute band," which pays tribute to a different group or artist every semester.  Some of these include Pink Floyd, the Beatles, and Black Sabbath.

Both sections of Rock Band are expected to meet outside of class to rehearse assigned material, which will be performed and assessed in class, culminating in performances throughout the semester.
