Spartan Snapshots

  • Spent more than 14 years working in Pennsylvania politics and government working with policymakers to improve communities where we live
  • One of his greatest achievements was his role in ushering through the passage of unemployment compensation reform in Pennsylvania in 2012- the effort erased a $4 billion liability and reduced costs on job creators; the passage of this law demanded a high level of coordination across a diverse group of both labor and management stakeholders as well as securing bipartisan support in the negotiations to ensure final passage; while it is a somewhat unheralded law, it solved a public policy problem that many thought impossible to remedy with legislation
  • Member of the YCP Spartan Caucus – Caucus members are YCP alumni and friends working in and around Pennsylvania government, including legislators, lobbyists, staff, and advisors who meet with YCP experts on timely, relevant public policy subjects during the legislative session
  • Served as a liaison between 253 members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly and the Governor’s Office from 2011-2013 as the Executive Deputy Secretary
  • Best of Capitol 2016 – Most Effective Private Lobbyist
  • Pennsylvania Rising Star 30 under 30 Recipient
