Option A: Online Pre-Registration (Fastest)

Visitors can register their vehicle online before arriving on campus and print a pass to place on their dashboard:

Option B: In-Person Pickup

You can pick up a paper visitor permit on campus at two locations:

To receive a visitor pass at either desk, you must present a valid driver’s license and valid vehicle registration.

Place the printed permit or physical pass face-up on the driver’s side dashboard so all details are clearly visible through the front windshield.

• Tour Confirmation Email Pass: If you are visiting campus for an official Admissions tour, your Admissions Tour Confirmation Email displayed face-up on your dashboard serves as your temporary parking permit.
• Welcome Center Assistance: If you do not have your email confirmation, stop by the Admissions Welcome Center inside the Iosue Student Union to receive a paper pass.
• Where to Park: The main Admissions parking area is the first lot on the right when turning onto Main Campus from Country Club Road (directly in front of the Miller Administration Building).

• State Permit Requirement: Guests needing accessible parking may park in any marked ADA space across campus, provided they display a valid state-issued handicap placard or license plate alongside their free YCP visitor pass.
• Location Access: Accessible spaces are located near the main entrances of every major academic, administrative, and dining building.

• Athletic Events (Grumbacher Center): Spectators attending sports at the Grumbacher Sport & Fitness Center should park in the main lot directly on the west side of the facility.
• Main Campus Sports (Baseball/Softball): Spectators should park in the designated bays adjacent to the softball field.
• Cultural Series & Performing Arts: Visitors attending cultural series events can use standard visitor lots during the day. After 5:00 p.m., event guests are also permitted to park in Faculty/Staff lots.
• Large Campus-Wide Events: Traffic officers will be stationed at main entrances to direct guests to designated event overflow lots.
• Small On-Campus Events: Participants will be directed to the specified parking prior to the event. 

Please do not park in roadways, along curbs, or in fire/turn lanes.

Visitors staying overnight on campus must display a valid visitor permit and park in designated overnight lots based on where they are staying:

Main Campus Overnight: Commuter parking bays located adjacent to Penn & Beard Halls.

West & North Campus Overnight: Any student-designated parking lot located on West Campus.

• Service contractors, sales representatives, and utility vendors working on campus must obtain a temporary vendor pass from either the Campus Safety Office or the Campus Information Center (CIC).
• Vendor passes grant access to designated loading bays and service spaces near work sites. Standard guest spaces should not be occupied by contractor equipment vehicles.

• Visitors are subject to the same traffic and parking policies as faculty, staff, and students. It is the responsibility of the host to inform his or her visitors of traffic and parking policies.
• Students may be held accountable for fines imposed upon their visitors for any parking offenses incurred. In the absence of student information, the registered owner of the vehicle may be held accountable for any parking offenses incurred.
• Visitors are required to come to the Campus Safety office, in person, with driver's license and vehicle registration to discuss parking citations. Students cannot discuss parking citations on behalf of visitors.
• Students are not considered visitors at any time and are therefore not eligible to obtain a visitor permit or to use visitor parking.
• Visitors to campus may park at the various locations marked for visitors on the campus map after obtaining a visitor permit for their vehicles.
