Alumni Events

Celebrate with hundreds of fellow Spartans, as alumni and their families return to campus for a nostalgic weekend filled with food and drinks, entertainment, reunions, and more. Some featured events include the 12th annual SpartaFest picnic and Fall Festival; BINGO; Athletic Hall of Fame induction; and the 50th anniversary of WVYC radio.  

All adults and current YCP students who register for SpartaFest by August 30 will receive a free Homecoming t-shirt!

The YCP Alumni Hiking Club tradition continues during Homecoming Family Weekend! Bring the whole family out for a scenic stroll along the Heritage Rail Trail. Whether you're in it for the exercise, the scenery, or the conversation, you'll leave refreshed, recharged, and full of Spartan pride!

Alumni and their families are invited to our annual YCP Trunk or Treat! Enjoy games, crafts, prizes and more, while we have a spooky good time in Grantley Hall Parking Lot on West Campus. 

For this month's adventure, we will be tackling the Pink Trail at Strawberry Hill Preserve in Fairfield, PA. We are thrilled to have Anne Gageby, Director of Environmental Education, joining us to share insights about the foundation. She will be assisting our very own Randy Sterner in leading the group through this beautiful autumn landscape.

Mark your calendars for a jar candle (9oz) making class at 6:30 p.m. with the Gleeful Candle Company in Mechanicsburg.

Bundle up and join us for our final hike of the year!  We will be taking on a scenic 2-loop trail at Rocky Ridge Park to close out another great season of the YCP Alumni Hiking Club.

Get excited for a Pasta Making Class (for adults 18+) from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Morales Kitchen in Downtown York!
