York College of PA to host Oct. 10 York County Regional College Fair
More than 100 colleges, universities, and technical schools will be represented at the York County Regional College Fair, to be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Oct. 10, at York College of Pennsylvania’s Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center. The event is open to the public free of charge; registration is not required.
Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC), the Fair is open to high-school students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade and their parents, as well as transfer students and adult learners. For more information on the event, contact York College’s Senior Associate Director of Admissions Nan Noel at 717-815-1769 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Representatives from local colleges as well as schools up and down the East Coast – from the University of Maine to The University of Tampa – will be on hand to speak with students and parents. Larger universities like the University of Pittsburgh, The Catholic University of America, and Ohio University will be represented, as well as smaller colleges like Gettysburg, Roanoke, and Springfield in Massachusetts. A complete list of colleges and universities attending the York County Regional Fair is available here.
Those planning to attend should register for a barcode at www.StriveFair.com. Students or parents will share their barcode with colleges who will scan it to send more information about their schools. The day after the fair, a report with information about each college that scanned the barcode will be sent.
