York College of PA awards Susan Klinedinst of Dover Professional Service and Leadership Award

York College of Pennsylvania’s Office of Alumni Relations has awarded Susan Klinedinst of Dover the 2022 Professional Service and Leadership award.

The Professional Service and Leadership award is presented each year to a faculty member or administrator who has served the College community with great vision and distinction. Additionally, recipients must have demonstrated the highest qualities of leadership in the completion of their professional responsibilities.

Klinedinst officially retired from York College in Spring 2022 after serving in a variety of roles for the past 40 years. During her years of service, she was the Head Athletic Trainer, Senior Women's Administrator in Athletics, Instructor of Physical Education, Coordinator of Physical Education, Assistant Professor of Sport Management, Coordinator of Sport Management, Chair of Student Welfare, and Faculty Athletics Representative. In addition to these formal leadership roles, Klinedinst also mentored countless faculty and administrators, served on numerous searches, and held community leadership responsibilities.
