Meet the Students Who Are Helping Shape Innovation at YCP.

Caroline Pritts, Writer & Content Developer, Criminology and Criminal Justice (2029)

Caroline contributes her experience in Criminology and Criminal Justice to assist the GCCI. She has always been passionate about scriptwriting and journalism. Caroline fuels her passion by creating content for the At The Center podcast and The GCCI Connect.

Thomas Morehead, Newsletter Editor and Writer, Writing (2028)

Thomas brings his passion for creative writing and journalism together in order to help the GCCI bring stories of local collaboration to life. Drawing from his experience as a Writing major and Mass Communications minor, he works to publish articles and the monthly newsletter The GCCI Connect. These efforts highlight local events, workshops, grants, and stories of collaboration that would otherwise not get the recognition they deserve.

Cecelia Cox, Graphic Designer, Graphic Design (2027)

Cecelia is a creative graphic designer driven by a strong passion for art and design. She blends visual storytelling with thoughtful design strategy to create compelling and engaging content. Through her work with the At The Center podcast and The GCCI Connect, Cecelia develops impactful visuals and media that inform, connect, and inspire diverse audiences.

Seth Laning, Podcast Producer, Mass Communications (2026)

Seth is an audio engineer and audio editor who is deeply passionate about making sound and video as crisp and clear as possible. As an Audio and Video Producer for the GCCI, Seth helps record live conversations with guest speakers and edits them into episodes for the At The Center podcast.

Natalie Rietema, Events Coordinator, Hospitality and Tourism Management (2026)

Natalie contributes her experience in hospitality operations and event coordination to support the GCCI. As a Hospitality and Tourism Management major, she applies her passion for guest experience and organization to plan, promote, and execute engaging and seamless events for the school and community.

Avah Virus, Events Coordinator, Hospitality and Tourism Management (2026)

Avah supports the GCCI with her extensive background in event planning, coordination and hospitality. Using skills learned as a Hospitality and Tourism Management major, she employs her organizational skills to help coordinate and run complex events. Her passions lie in creating positive guest experiences, ensuring the GCCI’s events serve both the campus and the community. 

John Endy, Digital Communications Coordinator, Marketing & HR (2026)

With his experience in Marketing & HR, John brings a different view to social media with the GCCI. Having served as an orientation coordinator and held both the Trivia and Entertainment chairs for the Campus Activities Board, he brings a plethora of experience to the position. He is passionate about events and making everyone feel heard and respected! He hopes that everyone can smile, laugh, and most importantly, learn something new.

Sophia Sheesley, Digital Communications Coordinator, Pre-Law (2027)

Sophia contributes her experience in target marketing and research to co-manage the GCCI Instagram page. Not only does she have a major in Pre-Law, but she also carries a long-standing interest in Graphic Arts and Design. She uses this creative interest to strategize visual design and effective communications for the GCCI at large.
