York College of Pennsylvania and University of Baltimore School of Law Announce New Dual-Degree Partnership

York College of Pennsylvania and the University of Baltimore are proud to announce a new partnership that establishes a streamlined "3+3" dual-degree law program.

This partnership provides York College students with an accelerated pathway to earn both their bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor in less time.

Under the terms of the agreement, qualified York College students can apply to the University of Baltimore School of Law after completing three years (90 semester hours) of undergraduate study. If accepted, the first 30 credits earned at the University of Baltimore School of Law will also count toward satisfying the final requirements for the student's undergraduate degree at York College.

The 3+3 agreement is available to York College students in three programs: Political Science, Philosophy, and Pre-Law Studies.

Program Highlights:

• Accelerated Timeline: Students can complete both degrees in six years instead of the traditional seven.
• Flexible Options: Once accepted by the University of Baltimore, students can attend the University of Baltimore School of Law as full-time students for three years or part-time for four years.
• Early Admissions: The program includes an "Early Presumptive Admissions" process for students who meet specific annual criteria set by Baltimore.
• Academic Standard: Students must maintain a strong academic record at York College, including completing all general education and major-specific requirements. The agreement is available provided York College students meet the core credit and GPA requirements. Students interested in the program must apply to the University of Baltimore School of Law by April 15th of their junior year and must be accepted to attend.
