York College students can celebrate the season in style at this year’s Spring Fling, hosted by the Campus Activities Board on Friday, April 10.
From 5 to 8 p.m., the Main Campus lawn will come alive with music, food, and activities, giving students a chance to unwind. There will be two live bands, eight food trucks with free vouchers, and a wide variety of interactive experiences, all at no cost to students.
Attendees can take to the sky with hot air balloon rides, visit a petting zoo or butterfly tent, and enjoy hands-on activities like DIY kites, bud vases and flowers, and airbrushed pennants. Students can also check out permanent jewelry, mini golf, giveaways, and more throughout the evening.
Spring Fling is designed to bring the campus community together for one last celebration before summer.
“Spring Fling is all about giving students a chance to relax, connect, and celebrate the season together,” said Assistant Director of Student Activities and Orientation Sophia Bisbal. “With great food, fun activities, and a lively atmosphere, it’s one of the best ways to enjoy campus in the spring.”
York College students are encouraged to take advantage of this free event and enjoy a festive welcome to spring before heading into the final weeks of the semester.
