Students looking to explore career possibilities, internships, and leadership opportunities will have plenty of options when the Spring 2026 Career Expo returns to York College on March 18 in the M&T Bank Field House at the Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center.

The career expo brings together around 130 employers and campus partners eager to connect with Spartans about their next steps, either on campus or after graduation.

The spring event highlights national, regional, and local employers, including major companies headquartered in the area. The Expo gives students the chance to learn more about career pathways close to home while building valuable professional connections.

“The Career Expo is one of the best opportunities students have to explore different industries, meet employers face-to-face, and begin building their professional networks,” said Beverly Evans, assistant dean for career development and student development & campus life. “Even if a student isn’t actively searching for a job or internship yet, these conversations can open doors and help them better understand what employers are looking for.”

Both the Fall and Spring York College Career Expos are open to students from all majors and class years, but the Spring Expo is particularly valuable for underclassmen who may be just beginning to think about their professional goals.

“I hope students walk away with greater confidence about their future and a clearer sense of the many pathways available to them,” Evans said. “Whether they discover a potential internship, connect with a mentor, or simply learn more about a field they’re curious about, every interaction can help shape their career journey.”

The Spring Expo will also feature on-campus organizations and leadership opportunities, giving students ways to build skills and experience while still at York College.

Students will also be able to explore global learning and academic opportunities, including booths for YCP Global Education, which offers experiences such as a semester in Washington, D.C., and study abroad programs. Representatives from York College Graduate School programs will also be on hand to help students learn more about continuing their education after earning their undergraduate degree. The College’s First Year Experience team will also be at the Expo recruiting students to serve as Fellows, a valuable on-campus leadership opportunity open to students from all majors.

Students can see more information about the participating employers and register for the event on Handshake.

The Spring Career Expo is designed to help students see the full range of opportunities available to them, both during their time at York College and beyond.
