York College of Pennsylvania’s MBA program, which has served professionals in the region since 1977, will move to an online format beginning in the Fall 2023 semester.

Points of distinction for the MBA program – close relationships with York’s business community, The Willman Business Center and its NASDAQ Trading Lab and Special Operations Lab, and small class sizes – will continue to provide York’s graduate students with an advantage over similar programs. The decision to switch to an online format will add flexibility to the program.

“As the MBA is a professional program, we understand that our students need flexible coursework,” said Dr. Nicole Sadowski, Associate Professor of Business and Director of the Graham School of Business Graduate Programs. “Students will be led by an instructor and work closely with peers but complete their weekly coursework when it’s most convenient for their schedule.”

Online programs are booming because they suit today’s MBA students more than the traditional in-person or hybrid programs. The Graham School of Business wants to prioritize flexibility in attendance, adapt to the changing market environment, and allow learning from anywhere, according to Dr. Nick Delener, Dean and Full Professor, Graham School of Business.

“That is why we are offering a flexible format that allows students to gain the same high-quality MBA without interrupting their work schedule,” he said. “Business professionals have a busy working schedule and travel a great deal for work so they miss lectures if they undertake weekend or part-time MBA programs. They need to be able to learn on the go, fitting it around their professional life. Our flexible online MBA program will answer these challenges. Our online MBA program gives prospective students the advantage of having flexibility in the pursuit of their educational goals.”
