Why Give?

Your gift to York College provides real value, impacting our students, campus, and the York community.

Three students gather by a fountain at the center of campus, laughing as they chat.

A York College education is about more than the degree.

During their time at YCP, students have experiences that will shape the rest of their lives. They develop skills that prepare them for future careers, and most importantly, they engage with hands-on learning opportunities and a supportive community to help them grow the confidence they'll need to excel.

Your gift to York College is an investment in today's students, the Spartans who will soon graduate and begin leaving their mark on the world. Even better, it helps us to maintain and build upon a strong foundation of academic excellence that will continue to serve our Spartan family for generations to come.

What Are Matching Gifts?

Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1 or even higher. Minimum and maximum amounts vary by company, employee, and nonprofit type.

The Matching Gift Submission Process

Submit your donation to York College of Pennsylvania (be sure to check the box indicating that your company will match your gift).

  1. Search your employer's website or check with your Human Resources department for information about the organization's matching gift program guidelines.
  2. Complete the provided submission form and submit it to the designated contact person at your organization.
  3. Once processed and approved, the organization will make a matching donation to YCP!
