York College of Pennsylvania Partners with Wilmington University Farnan School of Law to Launch Accelerated Early Admission Law Pathway
YORK, Pa. — York College of Pennsylvania has established a new partnership with the Wilmington University Farnan School of Law, creating an accelerated Early Admission Program (EAP) for aspiring law students.
The partnership enables qualified York College undergraduates to complete their bachelor’s degree and earn a Juris Doctor (JD) in six years instead of seven, saving students significant time and tuition costs.
This agreement further expands York College’s robust portfolio of accelerated legal education options, joining established 3+3 pathways with Widener University Commonwealth Law School and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Under the Early Admission Program structure, eligible York College students complete all general education and core course requirements during their first three years at York. Students who qualify will then transition into their first year of study at Wilmington University’s Farnan School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. Up to 30 credits completed at Farnan Law will transfer back to York College to fulfill the remaining degree requirements and confer the bachelor's degree.

Through this partnership, York College students who maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 across six undergraduate semesters, meet Farnan Law’s LSAT score requirements, and meet other key criteria are eligible for early admission consideration. Participating students will also be considered for merit-based financial aid directly through Farnan Law.

"By streamlining the transition from undergraduate study to law school, we are directly addressing the cost of higher education and helping students launch their legal careers a full year ahead of schedule."
