Paint the Campus Green: Celebrate National College Colors Day on Sept. 4
It’s time to break out your best green, Spartans! On Friday, September 4, York College students, employees, and alumni will come together to celebrate National College Colors Day.
It’s a day to show off your Spartan pride, connect with our community, and kick off the 2026–27 academic year in true YCP style. This tradition is all about celebrating what makes York College special. It’s about the friendships you’ve made, the memories you’re creating, and the Spartan spirit that unites us all.

What’s Happening
Giant “Y” Group Photo—Main Lawn, 11:50 a.m.
Let’s make history together! Students, faculty, and staff are invited to wear green and gather on the Main Lawn to form a giant “Y” for York. A photographer will capture the moment from above, so bring your energy, your friends, and your biggest Spartan smile! (In case of rain, the photo location will move to DeMeester Hall).
Starbucks Special Offer
