York College Students to Present Research on Local History of Housing Policy and Housing Inequalities

WHO:              Students enrolled in HIS/PS 463 Policy and History in York

WHAT:             Presentation of their research on the local history of housing policy and housing inequalities in York to policymakers and community stakeholders who work in the housing policy space.

WHEN:            December 6 at 5 p.m.

WHERE:           Center for Community Engagement, 59 East Market Street, York

The course is taught by Dr. Corey Brooks, chair of the Department of History and Political Science. This event is not open to the public because of space capacity in the CCE community room. More than 50 guests have RSVP'd, among them are Mayor Michael Helfrich, Rep. Hill-Evans, and numerous community leaders from organizations such as the County Planning Commission, the Community Progress Council, YCEA, Affordable Housing Advocates, Crispus Attucks, and several others.
