York College offers several spring campus visit options for high school students, accepted students, transfer students

York College of Pennsylvania is offering a number of options for students and their families to visit campus throughout the spring.

"The college visit is a key component of a student's college search,” said Vice President for Enrollment Management Brian Hazlett. “It's an opportunity for students, and their families, to really see themselves as part of a campus community. York has developed a robust line-up of events this spring that provide a personalized experience for each student. From interactions with faculty and current students and meetings with admission and financial aid, the families that visit our campus will leave knowing if York College is the right fit for them.”

Spring Open House – open to all students in high school as well as transfer students – is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 2. Those who attend will have the opportunity to learn about the admission process, student life, and financial aid, and ask questions about what it really means to be a York College Spartan.

Accepted students may register to attend Accepted Student Day on either March 19 or April 9. Attendees will meet with their academic department faculty, current students, and representatives from across the campus including Residence Life, Student Activities, Financial Aid, and many of our student clubs and organizations. The event provides students with the information they need to take the next step to enroll at York College and to ensure they are fully prepared for their first day as a Spartan.

Transfer Tuesdays are designed specifically for students who attend or have attended another college and are looking to complete their degree at York College. Those who attend get a transfer-centric perspective of admissions, credits, financial aid, and scholarships. An optional campus tour is offered after the presentation. Two different sessions are available: each Tuesday at 11 a.m. on campus, and every other Tuesday at 3 p.m. virtually.

All are welcome to attend an Information Session and Campus Tour. These daily sessions consist of an overview of the College from the Admission team. A student ambassador guides attendees around campus and answers questions about life at York College, from playing varsity or club sports to living in a residence hall.

Questions on these visit opportunities should be directed to the Admissions Office at admissions@ycp.edu or 717-849-1600. Guidelines for visiting York College provide information on measures being taken to ensure the health and safety of campus visitors.
