York College of PA Names Miguel A. Pereira III Title IX Coordinator

York College of Pennsylvania has named Miguel A. Pereira III Title IX Coordinator, effective Jan. 1, 2023.

Pereira previously served as Coordinator for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Title IX at the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville, where he also served as an Educational Opportunity Provider (EOP) Counselor. Prior to that, he was the Village Community Director at SUNY College at Oswego. 

Pereira is expected to earn an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Brenau University in May 2024. He earned a master’s degree in creative studies and a bachelor’s degree in social studies education from SUNY College of Buffalo, as well as an associate degree in liberal arts and science from Niagara County Community College.

“Miguel comes to us with a variety of experiences in developing and delivering a wide range of trainings and presentations, the ability to respond professionally and explain individual’s rights and next steps, and extensive experience in compliance reporting and monitoring legislation,” said York College Director of Human Resources Vicki Stewart.
