York College Fall Fest and Homecoming Weekend (Sept. 29 - Oct. 1) Features Events for Everyone

Inflatable slides and a bounce house are in the Grumbacher gym alongside hay bales and mums during Fall Fest 2022.

York College of Pennsylvania’s annual Fall Fest and Homecoming Weekend, scheduled for Sept. 29 – Oct. 1, will feature a number of events for parents, students, alumni, and employees. Preregistration is encouraged or required for many events.

Friday’s events include:

    • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Spartan Advance Golf Outing at the Country Club of York 
    • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Take Your Family to Class – Register to have family members sit in on classes. 
    • 4 to 7 p.m. Coffee Painting in Iosue Student Union 
    • 5 to 7 p.m. Glass Etching in Iosue Student Union
    • 6 to 8 p.m. Alumni Happy Hour at Gift Horse Brewing Company in downtown York
    • 6 p.m. Shabbat Celebration and Dinner at the Doris and Bernard Gordon Center for Jewish Student Life on West Springettsbury Avenue; Preregistration is required by Sept. 27. 

Saturday’s events include:

  • 8 a.m. YCP 5K and Fun Run at Grumbacher Track and the York County Rail Trail (Kids race begins at 8 a.m.; 5K begins at 8:30 a.m.)
  • 11 a.m. Women’s Volleyball Trimatch (YCP vs. Misericordia) in Grumbacher
  • 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Coffee and Conversation with professors and administrators on the Waldner Performing Arts Center Patio 
  • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fall Festival including inflatables, face painting, popcorn and cotton candy, and music on the Main Campus Lawn 
  • Noon to 1:30 p.m. BBQ Lunch under the tent on Main Campus 
  • 1 p.m. Women’s Volleyball Trimatch (Misericordia vs. Mount Aloysius) in Grumbacher
  • 1 p.m. Field Hockey on Kinsley Field
  • 2:30 to 4 p.m. Magician Jack Kelly in Wolf Hall 
  • 4 p.m. Dedication of the Alumni Fountain and Dr. G-S Plaza on Main Campus 
  • 4 p.m. Prism Concert at Waldner Performing Arts Center 
  • 5 to 8 p.m. SpartaFest including music, awards, food, games, and more in Grumbacher
  • 8 to 9 p.m. S’mores and Camp Fires on the Iosue Student Union lawn (tentative)
  • 9 p.m. Screamer’s Birthday Bingo Bash in Johnson Dining Hall
