Spartan Field Hockey Advances in NCAA Tournament to Face Lynchburg on Nov. 11

The York College field hockey squad earned a 3-0 win over Denison University in the opening round of the 2023 NCAA Division III Tournament. The Spartans improve to 16-4 overall as they have tied the school record for wins in a season. The shutout was the 11th of the season for York, and the Spartans rank seventh in the nation in goals against average.

The #9 Spartans face #11 Lynchburg in the second round at Christopher Newport in Newport News, Virginia, on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. The winner of the second round game will face the winner of the Christopher Newport - Kean game on Sunday at 1 p.m. for the right to go to the Final Four.
