Amanda Scheler, M.S.
Meet Amanda Scheler
Amanda Scheler has over 20 years of experience working with students in various roles surrounding financial literacy. She is currently working at Junior Achievement of South Central PA as a VP of Signature Events. Amanda started working with JA as a volunteer in the REAL Life program and quickly discovered how rewarding it is to focus solely on educating students on the topics of financial literacy and teaching basic budgeting skills. She joined York College of Pennsylvania in August 2026 to teach Personal Finance and Banking as an adjunct professor.
Prior to starting with JA in May 2020, she worked 17 years in the student lending and financial aid industries. She was an active member of PASFAA for 14 of those years, serving on various committees and in leadership roles.
Amanda earned a master’s degree from Shippensburg University and a bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University. She lives in York, PA with her husband, three children, and cat.
