Weather Alert: Virtual Classes on Monday, January 26

Due to inclement weather, all classes and labs will be held virtually on Monday, January 26. Faculty and staff will also observe a Remote Work Day to support virtual instruction and campus operations.

Campus remains open to support the daily needs of students living on campus, though academic buildings will remain closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. The Division of Student Life and Success will issue messages related to students who live on campus. Commuter students should not come to campus.

The Grumbacher Sport & Fitness Center and Schmidt Library are closed. The Campus Shuttle will also not be in service on Monday.

Any in-person practices, meetings, and events planned for Monday that cannot be held virtually have been canceled.

In addition, the WellSpan Wellness Center will reopen when in-person classes resume.

Johnson Dining Hall and West Campus Dining Hall will operate under normal hours. (Important note for Sunday only: Spart’s Den will not be open.)

Library and Technology Services will be available by phone (717-815-1559) or email (LTShelp@ycp.edu).

Campus Operations staff will be actively clearing snow and working to maintain a safe campus environment. On-campus students are asked to allow crews the space needed to do this important work.

Students and employees should use discretion when out and about. As always, safety comes first. Your professors may communicate additional course-specific information, so please continue to monitor your York College email and each course’s Canvas page for updates.

Thank you for your cooperation and flexibility. Stay safe.
