Your Orientation program has been carefully designed to introduce you to the many areas that comprise YCP. From Academics to Cultural Enrichment, you will have the chance to explore the classrooms, activities, and community that makes York College of Pennsylvania GREAT!

January Orientation

Our winter program is an information-filled condensed schedule for all new and transfer students. You will have the opportunity to meet student leaders, hear YCP-specific informational presentations, and ask any questions you have before beginning classes.

All new students will receive an email to their ycp.edu address containing a full listing of sessions and locations.

Where can I pick up my student ID?

Students may submit their ID photos here.

IDs can then be picked up from the campus safety office during normal business hours.
How do I register my car with Campus Safety?

All students will register vehicles and pay for their parking permit online using myParking, which can be found under Main Applications on the York College portal. After printing a receipt, students may report to the Department of Campus Safety, located in Manor Northeast Lobby during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.).

Students will need to present their receipt, vehicle registration for the vehicle registered, and their student ID card in order to obtain the permit.
When can I purchase or pick up my textbooks?

The Spartan Store's online bookstore can be found here. You'll find all of the required texts and supplies for your classes listed there along with pick up and shipping information!

Monday, January 23: Closed

Tuesday, January 24: Closed

Wednesday, January 25: 1pm-11pm

Thursday, January 26: Regular Semester hours resume (Open at 6am)
