  • Apply

    Apply Online, Either By Early Decision or Regular Decision

    Ready to apply? Whether you are entering as a freshman or a transfer student, our online application process makes it a smooth process. Apply today or check your application status.

    Regular Decision

    We have ongoing enrollment available if you'd like to apply through regular decision. We'll begin notifying students of their status starting in October. Regular decision is available to any applicant, although some may prefer the advantages of early decision.

    Early Decision

    Already know York College is where you want to be? Apply now as an Early Decision applicant for Fall 2018 and kick-start your future sooner (See below for more about Early Decision). To be considered, you must be a first time freshman and apply as Early Decision by November 1st, 2017. What is Early Decision?

    Early Decision gives first-time freshmen a chance to secure enrollment at York College of Pennsylvania before Regular Decision enrollment begins for the academic year.

    Which majors are considered for Early Decision?

    Early Decision is a competitive advantage for all York College programs and majors. You’ll be at the front of the line for enrollment consideration and financial aid awards. There are certain majors that are competitive or have limited seating, and applicants interested in these programs will benefit the most by applying Early Decision:

    • Nursing*: Both the 4-year and 4.5-year program
    • Engineering: Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering*.
    • Health Professions: Medical Laboratory Science, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Pre-Med, Radiography* and Respiratory Care*.

    (*)These programs are competitive and can only accept a fixed number of students.

    What benefits does Early Decision have over Regular Decision Admission?

    By enrolling at York College through Early Decision you’re committing to York College and in return York College is committing to you. That commitment includes:

    • Early access to financial aid packages, including first review for scholarships;
