York College will honor its 2013 graduates and retiring president George Waldner and his wife, Judith, at commencement exercises. Nearly 700 students, including the College’s first five Doctor of Nursing Practice graduates, will receive degrees. Dr. and Mrs. Waldner will each receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.

Bob Potts Marathon
The annual marathon, which raises funds for the Bob Potts Scholarship (two $1,000 scholarships given to York County cross country runners) will begin at 6 a.m. at the Grumbacher Center and continue on the York Heritage Rail Trail.

Childrens Wellness Days is a yearly event for York County third graders that teaches good health lifestyles using the theme of Wellness is a Rainbow. The event focuses on teaching more than 1,300 students how to make positive decisions for leading a healthy life.
