York College of Pennsylvania’s Knowledge Park has acquired two new tenants, Firinne Research, a contract lab focusing on coatings and adhesives, and Dynamic Family Narratives (DFN), a cutting-edge creative agency specializing in the creation of immersive digital narratives.

The Knowledge Park is located on York College’s campus adjacent to the Codorus Creek and Rail Trail, and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to meet the needs of modern businesses. It offers partners the ability to innovate and collaborate with students and faculty, making it the ideal location for both Firinne Research and DFN to locate their operations.

"We are thrilled to announce this exciting partnership between York College's Knowledge Park and Firinne Research and Dynamic Family Narratives," says Jeff Vermeulen, York College's Chief of Staff, Office of the President, and Executive Director of the Knowledge Park. "These collaborative relationships mark a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering innovation, enriching the student experience, and advancing new knowledge."

Firinne Research brings over 50 years of combined experience in research and development, instrumental analysis, application testing, quality control, and manufacturing support for the chemical and material science space.

"Firinne, meaning truth, is built upon a solid foundation of scientific acumen and processes that allows our team to deliver proven, precise, and honest solutions to clients in a timely and cost-effective manner," says Brian Harkins, cofounder. "We chose the Knowledge Park as it allows for the opportunity to partner intimately with faculty, staff, and students of York College of Pennsylvania and provides access to state-of-the-art equipment and the latest academic research."

Dynamic Family Narratives, LLC has developed a content management solution for publishers that allows readers to self-navigate digital archives by using thematic timelines. As the business grows, there will be plenty of opportunities for collaboration across disciplines.

"YCP's Knowledge Park is a great fit for Dynamic Family Narratives," says Al Blakey, CEO. "The first-class space is just the beginning. The opportunity to engage with York College students and faculty, as well as the growing community of innovative local companies, provides an unmatched setting for building our business."
