Jazz Ensemble

York College's finest young jazz musicians.

The Jazz Ensemble is an auditioned, student-based group that performs repertoire from jazz's greatest composers, including Count Basie, Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, and many others.

The ensemble balances big band arrangements with solo improvisations, all under the imaginative leadership of Jeff Stabley. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. in Wolf Hall, Room 114.
