Accreditation and Membership
York College is fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, which accredits schools and colleges in the Middle States region, which includes Delaware, DC, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Accreditation by one of the six regional accrediting associations in the United States indicates that the school or college has been carefully evaluated and found to meet standards agreed upon by qualified educators. Information about the ongoing Middle States process is also available.
If any student or prospective student wishes to file a complaint with York College’s regional accreditor, the Middle States Commission website provides details on how to do so. Please go to their website at https://msche.org/ and follow the link under "File Complaint (regarding accredited or candidate MSCHE institution)."
