York College names Victor Taylor as inaugural Director of Graduate and Non-Traditional Programs
York College has named Victor E. Taylor, chair of the Department of English and Humanities since 2014, as its inaugural Director of Graduate and Non-Traditional Programs. He will lead the College’s faculty in developing and growing graduate programs, adult education programs, certificates, community education, and a variety of new and innovative programs. Taylor will assume his duties on July 1.
Taylor earned a B.A. in English and philosophy from Le Moyne College and his Ph.D. in humanities from Syracuse University. He also completed postdoctoral studies at Cornell University and Yale University through National Endowment for the Humanities sponsored fellowships. Taylor is the editor of six books and the author of four books, most recently “Christianity, Plasticity, and Spectral Heritages.” He is a co-founder and the executive editor of The Journal for Cultural and Religious Theory, and in 2015, he completed the Harvard Institutes for Higher Education Management Development Program, an internationally recognized higher education leadership initiative.
