The Paradox of the Sustainable City" at 7 p.m., March 11, in York College's Weinstock Lecture Hall, Willman Business Center. The talk is open to the public free of charge.

York College will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment by hosting a panel of historians and local political leaders for a March 19 discussion of the ramifications of women's political activism and the long fight for suffrage.

An Elon University sport management professor will discuss how sport offers an avenue for individuals to explore divisive topics at 7 p.m., March 24, in York College's DeMeester Recital Hall. The talk by Cara Lucia, "Leading Conversations in Divisive Times: Narratives from the World of Sport that Empower Dialogue," is open to the public free of charge.

Two artists who will serve as guest jurors for York College's Annual Juried Student Exhibition will speak on March 11 and 12 as part of their work with York College. This exhibition features works of art and design identified by guest jurors Briar Levit (Graphic Design) and Deborah Dancy (Fine Art) as the strongest work entered by students in our Fine Art and Graphic Design classes.
