Graphic Design Day
In this exclusive program for high schoolers looking for a career in the arts, you’ll spend the day hanging, learning and working with YCP graphic design faculty and students. Experience what graphic designers really do! You’ll learn all about what it means to be a professional graphic designer, you’ll work on your own awesome project, and have lunch with some really cool students.
“We’re going to give students a really good glimpse into what it is we offer here,” Professor Mel Rodgers says. “Graphic design is the toughest job you’ll ever love.”
Your parents will have an opportunity to find out just how many career options are out there for graphic designers (which means they’ll probably get off your case for wanting to major in art). The day will culminate in the opening of a high-visibility pop-up exhibition of your work (Yes, yours!) at YCP’s Marketview Arts building in downtown York’s arts district. Graphic Design Day has limited seating, and is first-come-first served. Reserve your spot today by registering below. Contact Nan Noel (firstname.lastname@example.org) with questions.
