Girls' Robotics Workshop at York College

Test your robotics skills at a workshop specifically designed for rising female engineering students!

York College wants to help train and inspire the next generation of female engineers. York's Kinsley School of Engineering, Sciences, and Technology is holding a hands-on robotics workshop on June 28-29 specifically for girls entering 8th and 9th grade. You'll work in a team to program a robot that can navigate a maze using Arduino and motors using two-wheeled robots. You'll meet female engineering students and faculty, too, and even compete for a prize. All materials are provided for you.

This new offering is not to be missed, and space is limited - submit your registration by June 3. The workshop, which costs $50, runs from 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. each day.
