Thanks to a generous donation by JL Smith, spouse of York College’s President Dr. Pamela Gunter-Smith, York College Theatre students are putting together a virtual play festival that will leave an impression for years to come.

Sophia (Hollis) Ticer ’98 was a single mother when she enrolled at York College of Pennsylvania. Today, she’s leading the Office of the Attorney General’s Child Support Services Division in Washington, D.C.
Stephanie (Obadia) Mace ’03 was a York College student in a Crisis Communications class during 9/11. It inspired her to pursue a career of helping people. “York College really gave me a strong foundation to go out and make a difference so that future generations don’t have the worries that we do now,” she says.
Jennifer Berrier ’02 came to York College of Pennsylvania looking for support in pursuing her future. She found that and more through flexibility and professors who encouraged her to chase her goals.
