Outdoor Leadership (Minor)

Combine what your learning in the classroom with hands-on experience in outdoor contexts. The opportunities for campus and community engagement and entry-level, industry standard certifications are available in the coursework for the Outdoor Leadership minor.

Students will practice application and analysis of specialized learning in areas such as: 

  • Outdoor leadership
  • Adventure programming
  • Ropes course facilitation
  • Supportive interdisciplinary coursework
  • Outdoor skill-based Physical Education courses
  • Culminating expedition leadership course
Students participate in canoeing at Lake Redman.
