Jay Azriel, PhD

Biography

Dr. Jay Azriel is the Chair of Strategy and Entrepreneruship and a Tenured Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the Graham School of Business, York College of Pennsylvania.His research has earned the prestigious Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice's Best Conceptual Paper Award and the Eastern Academy of Management Fellow's Best Case Award. He has authored both empirical articles and teaching cases.Prior to entering academia, Dr. Azriel worked for a number of organizations in both the public and private sectors and earned his MBA in International Business & Finance from American University, Washington, DC.Dr. Azriel earned his Ph.D. at the University at Albany School of Business. He also attended courses at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy where he studied systems thinking and consulting for not-for-profit organizations.
