Spring on the York College campus

Master Teacher Certificate

Are you an experienced teacher seeking an opportunity to lead from within your school?  Our Master Teacher Certificate program will equip you with the tools you need to serve as a teacher-leader, department chair, mentor, or team-leader. Your studies will include reflective instructional practice, peer mentoring, education policy and reform, and teacher leadership. This program will position you to build the skills you need to thrive as cooperating teachers and elevate your mentorship skills.

Graduates of this 12-credit program will be eligible to apply for the Skills of Teachers Leaders (PK-12) Endorsement offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Like all graduate education programs at York College, our classes will be offered using a blended approach and are fee free!

Students have a discussion around a table with a large computer screen.
