BIOGRAPHICAL PROFILEDavid Greisler, D.P.A. David Greisler, DPA is a fulltime faculty member in Graham School of Business at York College of Pennsylvania. He teaches Lean Systems, Applied Operations Management, Total Quality Management, Organizational Dynamics and Change, and Business Strategy in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Dr. Greisler is past Director of the York College MBA program. In April of 2011 was appointed The Eichelberger Chair of Business Education … the first endowed chair in the history of York College.Dave does focused consulting in both service and manufacturing settings emphasizing process improvement, measurement, organizational assessment and change, vocational coaching, and strategic planning. Prior to joining York College in the fall of 2002, Dr. Greisler spent twenty-two years in the healthcare industry.Fifteen of those years were with WellSpan Health, an integrated healthcare delivery system serving southcentral Pennsylvania. Across his years with Wellspan, it grew from a $50MM free standing hospital to a $1.2B integrated healthcare delivery system. In his last five years with WellSpan he served as a Chief Operating Officer at WellSpan Health, focusing on Wellspan Medical Group, a then 235 physician multispecialty group practice. The Medical Group had 51 office locations in York and Adams counties.The key metrics of ‘providers,’ ‘locations,’ and ‘revenue’ grew by greater than fifty percent during Dave’s tenure with the Medical Group. Dr. Greisler holds an undergraduate degree in the Natural Sciences from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Health Service Administration from George Washington University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and a Doctor of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. In 2013 he successfully completed the Lean certification exam through the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and is 6-Sigma certified through Drexel University. As the primary author of more than 50 professional publications (including one textbook), Dave has presented his writings at both national and international conferences. Dr. Greisler’s life is made complete through his faith in Christ and the joy (and privilege!) of raising his nineteen year old son Luke, currently a sophomore at High Point University majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Business.
