Spring on the York College campus

Global Scholars and Research

Our office is proud to support our students as Global Scholars who not only take their education abroad but also participate in research and academic reflection. The Study Abroad Center works with departments and offices across campus to support the proposals by and nominations of our Spartans to present their work and experiences at scholarly conferences and events.

Scholarly Opportunities

For Spartans looking to take their education abroad further, there are many opportunities to present their experiences and work or to work on potential publications. We've already had students present at the Somewhere Over the Rainbow Conference in College Park, Maryland; and the AFS Global Conference in Montreal, Canada. Contact the Study Abroad Center to ask about how you might be a part of future research, presentations, or publications. Below are just a few opportunities to consider.
