From short-term trips to full semester excursions, York College students are taking advantage of opportunities to see the world and be immersed in a different culture. We love seeing students come back with stories to tell and experiences to share that improve them academically, emotionally, and professionally.

These eye-opening experiences require commitment, responsibility, independence, attention to detail, and being accepting of different ways of living. Sound like you — or the person you are working on becoming? Then studying abroad is what you need to explore. Faculty and staff can help you identify potential options and get prepared with study abroad information sessions, our spring Around the World Festival, and our fall Global Education Fair. Then it’s on to finding a potential program and applying — with some dreaming big in between.

Starting the International Sport and Entertainment program at San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy (Inter VS Benevento).

"I believe that the most challenging aspect of the study abroad for me was to keep up with one of my courses, which was the advanced grammar course. The amount of work in it seemed a bit overwhelming due to the course being taught in half the amount of time compared to a full semester."
