New and transfer students will check in to Orientation at this time to receive important information and materials. I.T. will also be available to confirm your campus username and login information.

As you join our campus community and learn the Spartan Oath, there can be some differences of opinion around what is defined as respectful, considerate or supportive. During this session, we will explore how different identities influence how you communicate with others, and share strategies for maximizing your time as a Spartan.

Healthy Relationships

Understanding your role in healthy relationships is part of your responsibility and education as a member of the York College community. This session will include basic information on the topics of: sexual assault, dating violence, and bystander intervention.

Your successful transition to York College is important to us and this session will make that possible. Learn about York College’s academic curriculum and your path to academic success as you prepare to meet with your Academic Advisor.

Your successful transition to York College is important to us and this session will make that possible. Learn about policies regarding transferring credit, your online resources and additional items you need to know as a transfer student to the York College community.

  • Where can I pick up my student ID?

    Beginning on Monday, January 15, students will need to report to the Department of Campus Safety to obtain their ID card during normal business hours, which are from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

  • How do I register my car with Campus Safety?

    All students will register vehicles and pay for their parking permit online using myParking, which can be found under Main Applications on the York College portal. After printing a receipt, students may report to the Department of Campus Safety, located in Manor Northeast Lobby during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.).

    Students will need to present their receipt, vehicle registration for the vehicle registered, and their student ID card in order to obtain the permit. 

  • When can I purchase or pick up my textbooks?

    The York College Bookstore hours for Spring 2018 Textbook Purchasing & Order Pick Up's are:

    Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center is open beginning Monday, January 15.

    **A valid YCP ID card is required for GSFC access at all times. All current full-time students (registered for 12 credits or more) have access privileges to the GSFC through full-time tuition fees. All matriculated part-time students (registered for 11 credits or less) have access privileges by paying a fee of $5 (at the GSFC) per visit or $165 (at the business office) for the semester.
