Spring on the York College campus

Residence Life & Campus Housing

Living on campus is a big deal at York College. In fact, if you aren’t a commuter, we require it. Why? In part because we see how much of a positive impact it can have when students live in close proximity to classes and to their classmates. When you’re in an inclusive community that cares about you, you’ll find it easier to adapt to college and be successful.

We offer modern living with apartments, houses, and suites for upperclassmen, as well as traditional college halls. On-campus, you’re never too far away from food, class, the fitness center and more.

  • Interested in Applying for Commuter Status?

Students choose to commute to YCP for many different reasons.  And while commuters are not on campus as much as resident students, they can still take advantage of all York College has to offer.  Current on-campus students wishing to commute must request to do so through the application process.

As per the York College of Pennsylvania residency requirement, a commuter is a student who resides at the legal domicile of their parent/guardian which must be within a 35-mile radius of the College.

The commuter application is only available from February 1 - March 15.
