When it comes to your ideal college life, where you live on campus might be as big a factor for you as academics. That’s why we go to great lengths to provide a safe, comfortable living space in which you can thrive, full of fun, educational programs and supportive staff.

Living on campus is a big deal at York College. In fact, if you aren’t a commuter, we require it. Why? In part because we see how much of a positive impact it can have when students live in close proximity to classes and to their classmates. When you’re in an inclusive community that cares about you, you’ll find it easier to adapt to college and be successful.

We offer modern living with apartments, houses, and suites for upperclassmen - Little Run Lodge has its own cafeteria and mail center! -  as well as traditional college halls. On-campus, you’re never too far away from food, class, the fitness center and more.

We provide regular updates regarding changes on campus as well as what you need to know to help your student make decisions.
  • Newsletter: We want our families to have as much information as possible about life in the YCP residence halls including important dates and talking points to have with your student.
  • Under-18 Form: For new incoming students to complete if under the age of 18 when you paid your housing deposit.

    Residence halls close: Friday, October 13, 2017, by 8 pm.
    Residence halls re-open: Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 10 am.

    Residence halls close: Tuesday, November 21, 2017, by 10 pm.
    Residence halls re-open: Sunday, November 26, 2017, at 10 am.

    Semester Break 2017-2018

    Finals Week: December 13-19
    Commencement: May 20
    Housing stay-over request form (available 11/27)

    Only students directly involved in commencement may stay until 5 p.m. on the day of commencement.  All other students must leave as soon as possible after their last final with the latest time to leave being 2 p.m. on December 19, 2017.  If you have a late final or another academic reason requiring you to stay late, please complete the summer break request to stay form. Residence halls re-open on Monday, January 15, 2018, at 9 am.

  • Summer Housing Application 2017

    Looking for a place to live while taking summer classes or participating in an internship/co-op or the radiology program? While students are not be required to live on campus during the summer, we do offer housing. Check out our Student Housing Application for Summer 2017 for details.

    The York College CARE Team

    Our CARE team works with various departments on campus to assist students with medical, social, and academic concerns. The team works to connect with students of concern to provide individualized resources and support for their personal and professional success. We're here for whatever you or a friend of yours needs to be in the best possible position for success and wellness.
